Hiring Scripter

CONTEXT

Hello! I am @supergonks and I am looking for a scripter to fill the final role I need for a passion project of mine. It would be an on & off long-term situation, as I have you (the scripter) work on the systems I need made, in batches.

The exact parameters of the kind of scripter I am looking for are as follows:

1. Someone experienced in developing things from the ground-up
2. Someone a little on the budget friendly side
3. Someone who can work consistently week to week

WORKLOAD

Now that we’re past the boring “get to know the GNK Droid” part of things, this is where I would like to go over what exactly needs to be done.

Here are the systems I need to be made:

Movement System

The movement system has a couple of key features, those being:

1. It is stamina based.
2. It uses several stances. (e.g. Standing / Crouching / Proning)
3. Stamina drain will be indicated visually. (e.g. Blurred vision, heavy breathing so on)

Gun System

The gun system has a couple of key features, those being:

1. It is projectile based.
2. It handles recoil similarly to Phantom Forces (with a mix of Camera-based recoil & Gun displacement).

Melee System

The melee system has a few key features, those being:

1. It is direction based (think For Honor).
2. A core concept is that melee users will have the ability to block projectiles.
3. It has an integrated ability system (tied to stamina).

To note as well, I will be able to provide all assets needed for the job to be done (vfx, sfx, models, animations, UI, so on) - I only need you (the scripter) to script it. Additionally - this job has no set deadline, as long as things are consistent I will have no issues with how long it takes.

PAYMENT

I am working off of an okay-ish budget (~250 USD), as well I would like to note a few things about how I would like to proceed with the whole “payment” side of things.

1. I can pay via PayPal or Group Funds (pick your poison).
2. I will give payment on a per-asset basis, and not all at once.
3. I can pay before I am given the assets you make.
4. I will not do up-front payments before the job starts.
