Money record keeping is super important. In my group game, I pay for ads myself and record it as an expense that the group revenue fund will pay me back, but as I am the only one doing this for the group, it’s in violation of an accounting principal (same reason the same banker doesn’t operate the register and count the money)
There is a total payout, but no “line item” of it. As line item is clearly filled with players purchasing many items and such, it should be a separate tab.
In the picture below I added “group payouts” as what should be another button to show a line item view of every group payout transaction for the history of the game.
I support this. You easily lose control over the payouts with the system we have today - even when you’re just paying out to yourself or one additional player. Anything to give a better overview is a good addition.
This should only be for 1-time payments as a percentage payout could potentially cause 100 duplicates of the same thing paying each person which is a whole other problem.
