[hitsquad] Friend Connections

External Media

A few of you have already seen the game, and the response has been very positive (Thanks everyone)! There have been a few refinements, and now we’re trying to bring the game forward to a larger audience.

I’m sure everyone here has a group of friends they like to stick around with, whether it’s just to chat, to play some games or to create amazing things. They’re simply your friends - but have you ever wondered how well you and your friend connect? How similarily-minded you and your friends really are?

Well, today it’s all about your friends.

Because today, we bring you Friend Connections. A game that may even reveal a thing or two about your friends that you didn’t know about.

The game is fairly simple. It takes two players and asks them a series of multiple-choice questions. The answers of both players are compared and counted towards an overall end score. At the end, this score (ranging from 0 to 100) is revealed to the players, along with all of their answers.

The game comes with a sleek UI, pretty visuals, and a beautiful soundtrack. Additionally, we have a set of badges that players can use to show off how great their friends are, as well as a set of gamepasses which allow for a certain degree of customization and control over the game duration. The game can go as quickly or last as long as the player desires. This makes it ideal for any situation, whether you’ve only got a spare five minutes or a whole hour to spend.

If none of your friends are online on the server, there’s always the option to play with a complete stranger. Who knows, you might even find a few new friends while you’re at it!

There are several more features planned in order to further enhance the player’s experience. These include:
[ul]
[li]‘Party’ mode with up to 4 players in a game at once
[li]Spectate mode
[li]A cooperative minigame to see how well you and your friends can work together
[li][strike]Custom game length[/strike] Implemented this today
[/ul]

Additionally, we’ll constantly be adding more questions to the game to allow for more replayability.
And there’ll be tons more of those fancy little icons you can put on the front of your stand.

Further feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks!

The player select menu: An example of simple, effective UI.

Questions: Attention to detail. There are questions that ask about general preference, and some that go into the very fine differences and similarities between two players.

The results GUI: A clean representation of the results.

Tried it out and thoroughly enjoyed! Was simple but fun.

Sometimes simple can be fun, no fancy buttons or fancy gizmos simple fun plan to add more content like questions and icon packs regularly we’ve fixed all bugs for now also! :woohoo:

Loved it! Only, I wish you two could optomize it for smaller devices so I can play it while on the go.

Trust me, this on the list as well as the party mode ;D but the awnsers are gonna be insanely small on iPhones/iPods recommended iPad

Just added mobile support but it’ll be hard on any other device other than iPad but it will fully work just tap an answer but chances are it’ll be small

hi clon

Alrighty. Now, for the NBC benefit…

If it ever goes BC only we’re trying to bump it up a little for notice, rest assured it will be NBC and will always revert to paid access after
