If you’re not allowed to follow someone, hovering over their status icon will just say “Online”
If you’re able to follow someone, hovering over that icon will display the name of the game they’re in. However, on the home page, you’re able to click that icon and it will take you to the game they’re in regardless of their follow settings. This is not a problem on the Friends page or profiles, where clicking the icon will only work if you’re allowed to follow them.
Hey there! Just wanted to clarify – is the issue that you’re able to navigate to the game details page of the game they’re in from the homepage friends list? If so, I will file a bug!
I should be able to navigate to the game details page if their follow settings allow me to follow them. If their follow settings don’t allow me to follow them, I shouldn’t be able to navigate to the game details page, but I can do that right now.
