Homestore Terrain Feedback?

Hello, so recently I wanted to make a homestore for my group.
I learned how to make some terrain on blender, but now I’m stuck for the details.

How it looks right now

Please send me some tips on what to add since the mannequins don’t look right when I put it on the map. It looks too open.

I’m debating whether to make an outdoor homestore, or to make a homestore with an exterior and add it to the map.

Check out the game here

Thanks for reading!

Okay, so I just played the game, I think that there is something odd with the lighting, it’s good lighting but it seems to gray for a the type of buildings in your homestore. I love the buildings though and they way it has been created.

Thank you! I think the buildings you are talking about are the mountains? If so, that was intended!

It’s a bit plain TBH, from the screenshot you can see it more clearly, there is a lot of “grey area”.

What do you suggest I add?

Thanks for the advice btw

he suggests to CHANGE the lighting, not add things. It’s cool, but in the lighting change the ambient (top property) to like white or something

I recommend you add some trees, bushes, flowers and other plants since it looks plain. The terrain itself looks nice though.

Okay! Thank you I will be sure to do that

You could perhaps take the time and see which one suits your liking if you like an outdoor homestore or one with a exterior within it. I would develop more time into adding scenery vegetation and throw bits of smaller plants, variety of trees are a good addition. This is something you could take if ever needed.

Personally, asking users for what to place on the terrain is good and all - you should gather a few images to have by your side, to get ideas from to incorporate to your build as it would help as an guide on what proper elements to place. Reference images do help with this, create both and see which one you like.
