Honest opinions on my first apartment

Greetings, everyone!

I would like to present my own remodel of an apartment I’ve been working on!

In the first build is the original House made by JUMPFAX:

I changed it into an apartment so the only thing that is going to be seen is the inside.
This was my progress:

And here is my current design:
The floor in the living room …or as I like to call it, the tea room…Has a texture, but it couldn’t load on time when the screen shot was taken.

(I moved the palm tree in the middle of the pool after the photo was taken)

All the rooms were made by JUMPFAX and I just re-decorated the walls, floor, lighting, furniture, exc. All the furniture here was from the toolbox, were free, and each builder was credited.

Tell me, what do you think? Is it a great build? Do I need to adjust something to make it better? Please do tell!

This build is not completed yet, but I’ll give you the ability for free view!

It’s amazing practice to use a model and edit it! I think thats very good keep practicing!

I did change a few stuff, like the sandwiches on the table, the TV, the laptop screen, and some other colors! Thanks though!

No problem! I use some models and see how people make something so next time I can make it on my own.

Very nice apartment decoration you have going on here! especially if you are new to decorating spaces. Turning around an already existing model is a great way to learn and not overwhelm yourself.

I would be very careful with the neon texture though, as it can easily get overwhelmed and strenuous on the eyes. If you are using it for ambient lighting, try putting it along the ceiling as that is a place people will be looking a lot less frequently. And maybe put a texture on the flooring such as a tile or wood planks to add more interest.

Wow! This is so good! I love the neon outlining the walls, it gives it this ambient vibe which I’m totally all for! :open_mouth::grinning:

I think its cool that you’re using a free model to practice
your building/ decorating. Nice job!

In the previous builds, the neon lights were too sensitive for me and my friend so I toned it down a bit before the current image was taken. It’s fine just as it is, but I could lower it just in case, because some monitors might have too much contrast displaying. Thanks for the advice! I’ll try to put a textured floor or change the material of the floor’s part. Maybe… a wooden plank flooring will do.
Check it for yourself:

Yes, the mirror is incorrect. I’ll fix it when I finish my build because it’s a texture.

I made a game with the buildings and their progresions

Really detailed, really nice. It reminds me of a modern apartment.

I haven’t posted in a LONG time, but I did a few things:

The sunrays can be seen through a visible part by setting it on 0.02 transparency and duplicating that same part three times to make sure no one can see through the transparency.

I finally got rid of this complicated mess:

And I redid the whole room!

Thanks to the new room, the exterior is trash! xD

But to be honest, I really liked the outcome! What do you think?
