Hello, on 12/25/2024, I began to experience a strange bug in which upon the event of entering an experience, UI navigation would be semi-enabled, I have no idea why. The hotkey for it is . I can use \ to turn it off but I do not understand why it turns on automatically on the event of entering an experience. I cam confused as this has never happened before upon joining a game. Other problems arose that very same day, but this is a single report. Examine the attached evidence of the bug I am experiencing.
As you can see in this attached video, it automatically enables the UI navigation. I do not know why this occurs however it is extremely annoying as it will not only occur when I join a game, but at random intervals along the session. It becomes increasingly annoying as it disables mouse selection at times.
Expected behavior
I believe that it should not enable UI Navigation at random intervals of the session or at the start because it is extremely annoying.
It looks as though selection mode is only enabled if a Gamepad is connected while playing Arsenal. The developers of Arsenal likely added this as a feature to automatically allow players to perform a selection when a relevant UI opens on screen.
I recommend reaching out to Arsenal devs directly, or disconnecting any gamepads before playing if this is an issue for you.
Do you have a gamepad connected to your computer when playing the experiences that cause this behavior to happen? Do you have some sort of software installed on your computer that emulates gamepad input?
I can replicate your issue, but so far the only place its triggered in is Arsenal, and only when a gamepad is detected.
