How are these made? Custom skinned mesh?

I was thinking of using this style in my game, but I’m not sure how they are made. They are also used in bedwars for example. Is it like a custom skinned mesh or just meshes that you scale up and parent into the characters diff body parts from blender.

I make them in studio, using rounded parts. I then make custom parts in blender if needed and that’s about it.

If any knows any other methods I would like to hear them!
