How can I achieve good CTR?

Hey everyone! I’m Pignite and I’m hoping i can be a successful developer one day. I’ve made two games. One is a fully original party game by me called Golden Rumble (My main game, which I hope to be successful), and another is a small-scale Sonic obby. (Mostly for a quick buck, needs to be updated since lacking content)

I’ve advertised Golden Rumble for small amounts (600-1000) and have gotten at the highest 0.48% CTR, which I assume isn’t the best. I’ve sponsored it once for 600 and got 0.165% CTR. One thing I have noticed with sponsors is that they get a lot more impressions than advertisements. I’ve advertised the sonic obby once for a smaller amount (333 robux) and it averaged around the same amount. (0.16)

If anyone is wondering, these are the thumbnails for both games

Mega Sonic Obby

When I advertised Golden Rumble, this was my most successful ad. (0.48% CTR)

In my own opinion,

  • I think it’s possible maybe because I use 2D in my icons rather than 3D, it may turn some players away, which is why most games have 3D / GFX icons perhaps?

  • I don’t see my icons (hopefully) aren’t as boring as some popular obby icons or just icons where you can tell they took a screenshot in roblox studio.
I feel there is definitely a bias present depending on the number of players the game has. A game would definitely be more attractive if it displays something like “1.7K” players online, rather than them seeing “0” or “2” players online. But I don’t think there’s much I can do in that situation.

What are your thoughts? How do you personally achieve good CTR? I’m open to any ideas. Shoot.

Thanks,

frankly, the fact that the games are 2D adds an air of nostalgia and I think that makes it beautiful.
If you want the game to be more popular, instead of advertising on roblox, you can show it here with a few in-game images, and the image you designed for the advertisement is beautiful, but you can edit it to be more colorful.
