Hello! As seen in the topic’s title I have quite a little dilemma at hand.
My team and I recently spent a lot of time and resources in making a tower tycoon styled game called Fish Tower Tycoon
The game is really well made and offers more than just what most tower tycoons offer, for example we have skins for fishes that have multipliers, skins for plots, we got clams to run around and get premium currency with, an obby and the main base of the game is collecting fish eggs from a tower and buying more fishes to merge to get better fishes.
How i would do it would be to spend 10k on ads and see if the ad is effective and then if that works see how much time players spend in my game and improve on that before advertising. This game seems like a game for the younger audience on Roblox. So maybe have a Youtuber play your game and just pay them
According to my friend, Its around at least like 50k or 100k to gain lots of people. What I would advise first is to make a intriguing ads for example adding codes on it or the GFX art (make sure it isn’t those before joining after joined or level 1 level 1000 stuff. Whats better to start with is Social media, such as Instagram or TikTok. You could aim for younger audiences by advertising for tablet or mobile players in sponsering.
Sponsor is better to gain attraction of younger audiences or mobile players or tablet players.
Advertising would get some older audiences to play and PC users.
Hi. Your game has a lot of potential. Your game is engaging, it is important to advertise it well.
From my experience, 20k a day is too much. Test out 5k for a week or so. If players will keep coming back and will keep playing, go ahead and advertise it more for more days. I highly recommend you to not use the whole budget though.
I recommend testing out ADs, along with sponsors, especially on weekends. (small amount of robux spent) then compare if sponsor or AD did better. I also suggest creating around 3 or more adverts, each different graphics and see which one would do good. Then I would spend more on the successful one.
I might have repeated myself in here, but I hope that I did not waste your time.
I wish you best of luck with the game, I am sure it will do well.
I suggest it to be 10K a day for 28 days, its has been said to be the most reasonable and efficient.
But a day of 40K when the statistics are good can potentially bring a durable spike, risky move though.
280K if you use it conservatively you’ll be able to get a decent concurrent in February for sure, if you split it in bigger sum and less days its simply more risky.
As for the likelihood of your plan being successful, it’s hard to say for sure. It will depend on a variety of factors, including the quality of your game, the relevance of your ads, and the overall level of competition in the tower tycoon genre. However, by using a combination of the above strategies and being persistent in your efforts, you may be able to build a solid player base for your game
Quite a fun game, quite easy to put a good half hour into the game. My only complaint is that it feels repetitive, maybe a tycoon building mechanic where you can build up a place like a normal tycoon, and it would save of course.
