How can I "Bake Lights"

  1. What do you want to achieve?
I’m attempting to “Bake Lights” as seen in other game dev engines such as unity
  2. What is the issue?
I have no clue what I am doing
  3. What solutions have you thought of so far?
  4. I have tried: Looking up things on youtube - unsuccessful
  5. Looking for answers on the dev forum - Found “baked lighting” engine, however not what I wanted
  6. Comparing what you would do in something in the unity engine and using that to try to implement it to the roblox engine - not doable**

Now, I’m not the best when it comes to lighting, I’m a scripter and builder. However I am the only person who works on my games, as for I do not have a team due to trust issues. So I am looking how I could “bake lights” in my game. As for it would add a more realistic atmosphere and add more detail. All I am looking for is someone who could briefly explain how I would “bake lights” on the roblox engine.

FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW WHAT THE CONCEPT OF BAKING LIGHT IS CLICK HERE

EDIT: Now that I think about it this might not be able to be implemented into the roblox studio engine. If so please tell me.

Alright,
Thank you for your assistance.

but u can find ways people make their own voxel lighting and it so good that its better than future lighting

Not a very dynamic way you can use baked lighting, but if you want to bake lighting to affect the textures, you can bake them using blender, export the scene into Roblox, match the lighting, and then you’re done. However, if you are looking for a real-time solution, I don’t have an answer for you.
