You could leave the base asphalt Parts one colour, then create a Union that’s a slightly lighter or darker colour and place it .005 studs higher than the base Part.

Thanks, this worked great. the transition is a bit harsh though. Is there a way to make it smoother?

You might have to create a texture, then place it onto the part.

Here, at around 3:50, they talk about fading GUI colors on parts, you might be able to use this
