How can I decorate my hotel?

I have added flowers, trees, textures, random details and a shop to the hotel. Please give feedback and suggestions!

Try adding plants and more lighting. It is just missing lots of decorations, try adding posters too? Chess board would also work. Also, try adding material instead of only plastic.

Hey there, welcome to the DevForum! Your build looks very simple and plain, Try adding some small details here and there to really boost out the hotel! Try making it unique, add some plants, water, trees, roofing, and wall details. Good job on the work, I see lot’s of improvement! :rocket:

Thank you so much! I added marble walls to the bottom floor, made the floors (except from the rooms) wood planks and I will try and add a few more plants. What do you mean when you say wall details?

try adding some lighting on the ceilings, or some plants/bins, a lounging area, windows etc…

Okay, i’ll give you a list with hints (idea’s from other people may be in here)

Hints & Idea’s

  • Add some tv’s and couches, gives you a feeling of comfort. :couch_and_lamp:

  • Add lamps, so you know where the light comes from. :bulb:

  • Add some windows on the exterior of the hotel, and maybe a sign with the name of the hotel. :hotel:

  • Add a path at the entrance of the hotel, most adults don’t like to make their shoes dirty

  • Add a carpet.

  • Add some walls at the sides of the chairs, so people can’t fall off the stairs.

  • Put some stuff in the kitchen, or else people can’t eat :shallow_pan_of_food:

  • Add some more plants, because there aren’t enough yet in my opinion. :sunflower:

  • Add some trashcans in the hotel. People would else throw their trash on the floor. :wastebasket:

Here are some suggestions of mine that could improve the hotel :white_check_mark:

  • Add some more npc’s to add the stations to make it more lively

  • Of course add rooms for your guest to stay in give them something to do

  • Some background music to set the mood and attract for customers

  • change up the font you don’t always have to use the same font

  • More lights to brighten up the hotel

Add a lot more detail, choose a colour scheme and go with it, remove all the free models.

It just looks very tacky overall.
