How can I exclude an object from DepthOfField?

Hello, fellow developers. Today I was working on my FPS framework and trying to make a blur effect when you aim the gun. I am using Maya70i’s Dynamic DepthOfField module to unblur things in the focus of the sight. However, I was looking and could not find a way to exclude an object from a DepthOfField, just like how you can exclude objects from raycasts. I am looking to blur the back sight and keep the front sight in focus.

I suggest asking this in the thread you linked given that the module’s creator surely knows if this is possible or not.
