I typically just change a pixel and move on. Or if I have blank space that doesn’t matter I draw a line or something. It depends on what you’re being warned for though. Next time you get a proper warning (the one that looks like a ban message) check what the reason is. Small text is not a bannable offense. So I get them all the time, but no ban. If they believe your characters are nude, that could definitely be grounds to be banned.
The real thing you need to worry about is making it obvious they aren’t nude. If people here and some mods think they look that way, your players probably will too, and I promise you, you don’t want to deal with that.
Instead of making the bodies all tan, change the leg colors or something. It will look so much better.
I recommend him to use the noob colors because it’s the best color scheme ever created. Or otherwise you can also paint them white/grey so the message of “nudity” is not sent.
I honestly don’t think they look Nude. Not even close. I’m just assuming the worst possible idea that could come up. It seems the airing on the side of caution means being a mile into caution.
Exactly, but I don’t think this is being too cautious at all. If he continues to use characters that appear nude, even though they actually aren’t, and some moderator sees them on his game and thinks they are, it’s game over. He could lose everything, especially since Roblox really cracks down on that stuff. I mean, they don’t even let you color your whole body tan in the avatar editor anymore.
Honestly, that’s a horrible way to fight back against the system. The best way would be to make a feature request, not break the rules already being enforced.
Look at the Discord ban for instance. Instead of breaking the rules, (most) people kindly asked Roblox to unban it instead of trying to find workarounds, and sure enough, they did.
I doubt they would undo this though. I think it’s perfectly fine for them to not allow tan bodies running around everywhere, even if there’s really nothing to see. It makes Roblox look terrible to soccer moms and since children are their target audience, that’s a bad move. OP should just work with the system, not against it .
I’m not saying break the rules. I’m saying continue to do things that are within the rules but some moderators air too much onto the side of caution. Make the rules more cut and dry. More set in stone. We need to see where they draw the line rather than this wishy washy “sometimes” deal.
Alright, fair enough. I just think that if it is questionable, you shouldn’t do it. I do 100% agree that the rules on this should be more clear though.
They warn Ro-Racers all the time for small text. Rather than removing the text that isn’t even that small, we continue on pressing for then to change it so rather than small text it’s unrecognizable text. Because our text is perfectly readable. Don’t even need to zoom more than 125%.
Because some people use a massive picture to hide a 10 pixel text. My issue is when they compare that to text that is 35 pixels tall or taller in a 2048x2048 picture. It’s easily readable and is clearly not bad text. But moderators sometimes move too quick I guess.
The only way you would get removed from the DevForums would be getting banned from the DevForums it’s self.
There are a lot of developers who get banned and terminated who are able to appeal on the forums. There is also a specific topic where you can ask to get removed assets reviewed.
I feel like that the ROBLOX Moderation Team has a bot that checks assets that are uploaded to be honest, I mean who would really give someone on ROBLOX a warning for something that isn’t actually deemed to be fairly warnable?
