How can I give this Robot a more low poly look or vibe?

I am attempting to make a low poly Robot.

How can I make this Robot have a more low poly look or vibe?![04_PM-2|580x500]

I tried making the Robot a little brighter, but it still is not giving the look or vibe.

You should give it some legs if you don’t want that the hands should be like this!!

If you get what i mean but for know the robot looks awesome but the lights are not brighter…

Okay, thank you. I will see if it helps.

I’d personally use less polygons in the build. The robot already looks like it contains a lot of polygons.

Yes, you are right. The body does not have many polygons, but the decoration on the robot does. I will try to make the decoration less. Thank you.

I tried making hands, but it does not look good on the robot, so I will try making legs.

Alright, if you can’t make legs you can just, look at some tutorials on robot legs our leave it the way it is. If you think it needs more work done to eat!.

You could make hover hands, or future hands. Like hands here. It seems simple. But for you, you would have to see.

Okay, I will try something like this (Not the face, just the hand in the pic). Thank you!

Okay, thanks for the advice! I will eat!

To give it a more low poly look, you can use the flat shading instead of the smooth shading.

I was just going to suggest this. Flat shading gives off a way more low-poly vibe (obviously) than smooth shading.

Okay, thank you. Let me change it.

I tried it and it does look better! Thank you.

I wouldn’t really say you could give the robot a “more low-poly look”, doesn’t low-poly mean low polygon count? If you mean cartoony, I would recommend adding higher reflectance and giving less detail to the axe and background terrain. The robot itself is spot-on. :+1:

You’re smoothing the terrain too much it seems, kind of taking away that cartoony/low-poly feel I understand cartoony and low-poly are different.

Low-poly means low polygon count, so reduce the polygon count.

Other than that, it’s good.
