How can i improve my building abilities?
I’ve been building games and projects for 2 years but practice doesn’t seem to make me a better builder, is there a plugin or anything that could allow me to further progress in becoming a good builder
Roblox studio will limit your capabilities try using blender. At first it will be difficult, but in the end with enough dedication you will be a great a builder and building will be easy.
Plugins can only slightly alter how good your buildings look, the biggest factor that determines the look of whatever you are building is your own imagination and understanding of what looks good, as well as your ability to actually apply that understanding to make something that looks good.
Plugin’s mostly accelerate the development process, here are some of the ones I use:
SBS for manipulating multiple objects at once, like resizing all selected objects along one axis at once and rotating parts around a pivot point. It has many other useful tools in it, this will certainly help you do some stuff that can’t be done or takes a long time with classic studio tools.

Archimedes for mostly making smooth curves and circles with parts. If you plan to do a lot of architectural building, this will be extremely useful. Even in everyday building, I find uses for this plugin.

Brush tool, mostly for placing trees, flowers, bushes, and whatever other models you have randomly wherever you need them.

ThreeDText for generating text. It has multiple fonts and lets you change the thickness and size of your text. Useful for making signs and such stuff. (Sometimes it’s better to use a surface gui with a text label for a sign.)

Part picker, for when you have a whole map or building made and need to sellect just one type of part and change it, for example, you finish your building and looking at the whole thing you see that you don’t like the window frame color. With this plugin you can sellect all the window frame parts at once, and then you can change them from the properties tab.
Doing this by hand is torture, this plugin has saved me a lot of time.

And along with that, all geom tools made by Stravant.

Also, always be careful to get the original version of any plugin you download. A lot of plugins are copied and uploaded by other people with malicious intent (adding backdoors to your game, or trying to steal your passwords with a fake login screen in studio, stuff like that.) Just be careful.
The usage of plugins for building is limited, however there is a small list of plugins that can make it easier to create structures or assets. Final point, avoid plugins unless absolutely neccessary as better work comes by hand or with minimal plugins.
As @MechanicalCore said, Archimedes is a great tool for practically anything. Being able to turn objections at an angle, form curves and manipulate parts makes your life 1000 times easier. I use this practically daily with a variery of projects.
My greatest recommendation however is not plugins, but ensuring you put forth the effort to make something great. Using reference pictures has greatly increased my building abilities over the years allowing me to make structures I never thought I could possibly do.
What software do you use to model? Blender is by far the best free modeling software I have found. Roblox Studio limits your capabilities.
Here are the basics of Blender:
G - Move
R / RR - Rotate
S - Scale
Blender has an easier way of transforming an object. After pressing one of these hotkeys, you can press X/Y/Z to transform on one axis or Shift + X/Y/Z to transform on two axis.
More advanced stuff:
E - Extrude
Alt + E - Extrude Options
I - Inset
B - Bevel
Ctrl + R - Loop Cut
RMB + Subdivide - Subdivide
O - Proportional Editing
F - Fill
Y - Seperate
P - Seperate Object
Important modifiers:
Subdivison Modifier
Mirror Modifier
Array Modifier
Decimate Modifier
Using blender and importing your creations is probably the best way to widen your possibilities. I would also recommend looking into pbr.
Thans this helped the most and it helped make studio simpler and it makes it way more easy to build!, also to everyone saying use blender ive tried it but can’t get the hang of it.
