How can I improve my lighting in my renders?

Hi, I’m Yandel Roblox, I’m a graphic designer and I do several GFX and Renders. But I want to improve my lighting, I don’t like how it is:

  1. Here are one of my most recent icons.

** I don’t know what my mistake is, but the lighting is very basic. **

What possible solution would be here?

I hope you can help me thanks. :happy1:

You could add different shades of light to make a really nice effect. Overall its great!

Oh okay okay. Would you recommend me to make my own light or use only an HDRI

Definitely your own light so you can get nice colors and shades.

Thank you. I’ll be doing the lights while

Hello, if you use blender you can change the render mode to cycles. It will improve the lighting and it will look very realistic. You can also add an environment texture. There are multiple good tutorials on YouTube about environment textures and renders presets.

Brilliant. So I will use more cylces although it will render less fast but the result will be better.

ok so first of all. the penguin is floating, he just has a sword pack for no reason, his arm is like literally twisted.

the lighting is very basic and kinda matches the background, but really doesn’t. the character design is very basic on this render i suggest not using your own roblox character and creating your own in roblox studio other than for pfps.

how to improve lighting:

make use of 3 point lighting,

have vibrant and colorful lighting,

pose your lights.

i also suggest using cycles or cyclesx, as they have more realistic shadows and lighting and renders

Yea, the result will be better! Let me know if you have any other questions about renders or anything.

Hmm, si hay errores en el render. Lo corregiré más tarde. y gracias por los consejos de iluminación.
Estaré mejorando gracias
