How can I Improve this Jungle?

So for my game I am working on several biomes but one biome in particular I cannot seem to capture the feeling that I want. Keep in mind that the style I am going for is blocky, therefore hard to make enough foliage. I have used the brushtool to spread everything however I learned its hard to use the tool over an area that you already used it on. What are some things I can do to make it more jungle like? And are there any ways to better effectively spread the foliage like rocks, bushes, logs, etc…?

Should I consider ditching the blocky style for a realistic one? While my characters are blocky I don’t see an issue with switching to a realistic style. What do you think?

When I think of jungle, I think of lush areas with tall densely packed trees. Here are two examples I think of:

There could be more trees here, more specifically different kinds of trees.

I notice a lack of elevation, the world seems flat. It also looks like your graphics quality isn’t set to the highest setting (the Terrain grass isn’t fully covering the Terrain area). Maybe the colors of the grass could also better match the rest of the greens, but not exactly as that may make it look too mute or not have enough color vibrancy.

You could also ditch Roblox’s Terrain for more blocky custom terrain. This would make it feel more cohesive but also more difficult. Also, a common thing I found on Google Images was mountains or sections of rocks to break up the green. I think that could be done here.

When looking for inspiration though, check if it’s AI-generated. The topic of voxel jungles seems to be loved by AI sites, which isn’t bad per se, it just could paint an unrealistic environment or talent needed to make a jungle setting. I think a jungle is a difficult thing to get right.

Thank you for replying! That actually helps a lot! I figured that the terrain here and there should be a little elevated the only thing keeping me from really elevating it high is the biome is pretty small as to accommodate the other 3 biomes.

This jungle looks great! Nice job on it! How long did it take to make? What will it be used for? I’d say it looks good, but you can add different colored bushes and different colored rocks, you could also add smaller trees.

Thank you! Well making the props didn’t take too long, but I intend to use them for an upcoming game, and thanks for the suggestions!

also remember that grass is kind of rare on jungle biomes, you should instead use leafy grass or ground material, make sure to make the water kind of brownish to capture that jungly feeling, cover up a lot of sunlight with trees

Looking good so far, is say more variety of plants( different type of trees, bushes, sizes) and depending on what your making the jungle for, I think you should make it look a little more crowded. I also think it work be cool if you would add vines coming down from the trees or from one branch to another tree

Well, now that I am thinking a about it, should I ditch the blocky style and go to a mesh type of style so it looks more realistic? The only downside is all of my characters and creatures are blocky, but do you think that won’t be an issue?

Very nice! I think maybe a bit more trees would look nice. Also maybe having a sun would look nice overall very nice!

A more realistic look would look way cooler but there are a lot of things that can go wrong like the mesh being modeled weird and preventing the player from moving past it.

I you want, I put together a model pack that is pretty realistic and blends together pretty smoothly, you can size pretty much anything and it would blend with another block which is good when trying to change it up a lil.
(Just a note, models are not made by me, I just found a bunch of realistic meshes and put them together into one)

I think there needs somewhat moss on the rocks, and as irl, there are a lot of plants in jungles, so I’d add some more bushes and flowers. And make all the grass more saturated, that’s gonna make the biome more colorful
