How can I improve this thumbnail?

I know it is very basic, but can anyone tell me what I can improve? And please do not say GFX.

I think the ocean lackd something. Maybe make a couple of boats, add a sunset, and stuff like that. Making your graphics level 21 would also be a lot of help

That’s not a thing, but okay.

Yeah, when I was posting this I did think it was a bit empty. I’ll reply with a better thumbnail

I don’t know what happened with the lighting, I’ll have a look into that, but is this better? @BlueBloxBlast

Change your studio settings and go to rendering to change it

In-game without the flag enabled it is indeed not a thing, but in-studio inside of the settings you’re able to actually change your graphics on a scale of 1 to 21.

Jading based on your most recent thumbnail, I’d say it looks nice so far. I like how the forest is dark while the sun radiates the dock and ocean. Maybe some sun rays could be useful to the lighting quality.

I would suggest positioning the camera to focus on the player looking out to the ocean.

yeah I see now

I don’t want to make it too glaring though, since it will haze out most of the gameplay

Do you mean a player standing on the dock or?

Yeah, I want the viewer to see the little avatar looking out to the vast sea.

Hm I don’t know about this, because I want players to see the full area and a bit of the ocean, I can change the caption if it is not fitting?

Some wind going by. Larger waves. Maybe a storm or big sea monster in the distance. Maybe some leaves falling from the tree.

Gfx

What do you mean by this? Wind particles?

Unless there is a way for me to scale waves as they go out further without a custom ocean system, then I can’t do this.

No thanks, the game is ment to be peaceful

Good idea, I’ll try that.

Well, he did say Gfx, and not GFX.
