How can I insert a blank keyframe at the start of an animation?

I would like to insert a keyframe of the NPC standing still in the default position in my animation. This is because I want to see the interpolation between the start and the next keyframe. How can I add a keyframe without moving the rig, at 0:00?

You’ll have to make another one right in between them and right click and then make the movement to bounce

You will have to move the rig’s pose, but it will be reset by the end so it won’t matter.

  1. Put your keyframe selector to the beginning of the animation.
  2. Move each joint (it doesn’t matter how much, moving the joint will create a keyframe for it).

Now we have a weird pose.

  1. right-click the diamond at the top of the keyframe and click “Reset Selected.”

Now your weird pose is reset to the default position!

Y’all making this harder than how it is, you just have to select the parts and click without moving on any axis, here’s a video as an example:

You know you can just press the “Add Key Here” button?

This is the proper way to accomplish the OP.

That works too. I just click the axis because it’s faster, they should add an “add column” feature since using the right click you would have to go through all the list.

You can select multiple at a time with shift + click.
