How Can I Make a Low-Poly Build?

I’ve seen a bunch of cool, low-poly maps, and I want to know how you can make them. Do you just use union and negate or do you use blender for different meshes?

You can look at tutorials on the DevForum in #resources:community-tutorials or on youtube, if you just look up low poly meshes and it will come up with some tutorials for blender, since it is used widely apart from Roblox as well.

Most Builders and Modellers would use Blender. Here is a tutorial relating to Blender. In you’re going to build in Roblox Studio, you should use GapFill or this plugin.

Blender is really good for low poly and making meshes that fall into the low poly category. The unity asset store also has a plethora of really well made low poly meshes if you ever want a few starting assets for a game you don’t feel confident about start from scratch. I would suggest checking the terms of the seller before using them in your game though, other than that It’s really just about simplicity. I really suggest getting into low poly anyway and I would look forward to updates from you trying to get into it (:

These low poly builds that you see are probably made from blender. If you are interested in learning how to make these kinds of things, I suggest looking at these tutorials:

Most low-poly builds are simplistic and cartoony by using bright color and little detail but still making it look good

The best way that I have learned to make low poly builds it involves Blender since it’s free and easy to learn as long as you practice and watch tutorials. I personally prefer Blender. Find an object or an image online you want to create. Most people I see always start simple such as trees, house, weapons, and more because it’s pretty simple to learn how to make. low-poly builds, however you can make low poly builds in Roblox as well by using smooth plastic material, Bright colors ect.

You can use Blender to make your meshes there or watch YouTube tutorials for more explanation so that over time you can practice your own models and when you finish it in blender, you export them to Roblox Studio and you give the color as well as the size but EYE, you will need to put the ID of your created model so that it is generated in a block called “meshpart” I hope it could have helped you a little
