How can I make a player levitate with LinearVelocity?

So, I’m making a simple difficulty chart obby.
And I’m trying to make some elevator blocks so that when the player jumps in them, they start floating to the top and fall out of the elevator block when they aren’t in it anymore.
I tried LinearVelocity in the HumanoidRootPart of the character but it simply doesn’t work.
I put many velocities and it doesn’t work. Can somebody help me?

(I tried with a R6 preset and he flew, but not me…)

Don’t forget to set the attachment to RootRigAttachment


What is RootRigAttachment? What does that do?

Also, I can’t find “RootRigAttachment” to put in it.

Its a child of HumanoidRootPart.
