Hello! I’m quite new to building and this is my first ever peice Is there any way to make this better or tips on how I can improve on building?

Is this more of a terrain/environmental build, or were you planning to add more to this such as buildings?

If you were going for terrain then it looks good, maybe add a more realistic tree since most of it’s branches are visible. I would also recommend making your studio rendering settings to 21.

Nice first build, but I think you can expand on this!
Don’t be scared to expand you build! It’s totally okay to make mistakes when building/designing terrain, it’s only natural, and through mistakes you learn! These are the fundamentals of leaning any new skill/talent and practice makes perfect!
With your build, I would suggest you add more terrain and turn this into a small plateau or forest, be a little more creative with it! It takes lots of skill to use the terrain tool effectively, and you already seem to be getting the hang of it. I would also argue that this photo dosen’t really show your whole build, If you want some good feedback you should try to show the entirety of you build.
I like the placement of your tree, but as I said before, expand you build! Don’t be scared of expansion! I would also suggest adding some more foliage (trees, bushed, etc). This can help expand your build while adding more depth.

Not bad, looks kinda decently good
You can build stuff on that top of that hill like adding a shed or something small broken structure.
Btw, wanna ask though, how did you actually made the water realistic?

It’s a start, but there isn’t much to give feedback on, regarding your more of a beginner builder you could develop more time into adding other vegetation and expanding the terrain including elevation or other elements. You could even play around with the material/color to have a more define design.
Just to note, I feel like you could add another tree or even little bushes or a rock or to the area is very dull and empty as there seem to be not a lot going on placing another tree variation put into it or even a cottage shack something to showcase. Or even environment objects well improve it maybe you could add more terrain details experiment with other features and see what suits your liking; create to your own best abilities.
Is the tree is a free model? Overtime try to learn how to develop your own model meaning you can basically build of off it to learn how to gather small ideas and place them within your build, modify them into your own version as it will help improve your building skills.

I used water transparency and reflectance to make it look like that if it isn;t doing that for you go to settings > Rendering then put your graphics to 21

This is not building, this is terrain making. Ignoring that, it looks pretty good.
