How can I make my game fun?

This is my game The Others. I have played it with other players and the game seems kind of boring. What can I do to make it more engaging?

I would like to ask you what exactly are you trying to pull. From gameplay vision I can’t see you’ve done much, It took me 20 seconds to finish the game. I want to know what exactly the game is supposed to be about, and I can give you some suggestions for it.

I would say that one of the best ways to make a game feel good to play is to make it feel good to control first. Then try making challenges that feel rewarding without being too frustrating.

A great idea to make a game engaging is the add something for the player to work for. This makes the player excited to play the game and unlock new content. Also, make sure your game is a unique idea and not something that’s been done hundreds of times like simulators. If the game isn’t unique, the player will feel like there are better options out there. It’s okay to hop onto a trend but make sure it is good.

I just played a round. I think you should give the player a more clear objective and make things like aiming more intuitive. You could also add more interactive parts like fort-building or enemy bots to make it more engaging.

Players need more direction and things to do in general. For example, when I was walking around the map and clicking some of the interactables, I think it would be cool if players could get something meaningful out of it - an item, a clue on how to escape, and so forth. Also, I was pretty confused at first as to what I was doing. I ended up wandering around for 10 minutes, and then I realized I was the only one left in the game, so I didn’t really get to experience the whole thing. I would suggest making the game auto-end when that happens, as well as giving the survivors a clear goal.

Hope this helps!
