Any ideas on how to make it look less bland?
Add more houses or such, Fill it out with props but not so many. like boxes or crates, you can still be simple and make the map feel full

Looking good so far!! Try to add more depth to the map by adding terrain / buildings and try to use a few different colours for contrast. Overall great build so far, excited to see how it turns out!!

Like everyone else is saying; use terrain, but also I recommend to add some shrubs or tumble weeds. Also maybe add some dirt paths.
(It seems like you’re going for a Wild West themed area, so add stuff that makes you think of that!) But good work!
