I am currently working on a survival-horror game set in a large semi-futuristic bunker. The thing with horror games is, that the lighting and graphics are very important, because of course you wouldn’t take a horror game seriously if it looked like it was made to run on a toaster. I tried my very best to make the game look good, and I think it looks really good, but I can’t tell if others are going to think the same way. Here are some screenshots of an early prototype of what the game is going to look like:
I know that some more creative, more experienced devs would make it look better. I imagine that those devs are also on the DevForum. So if there is anything I could change about this so it looks better, I appreciate any help or tips.

I’ve implemented some of these changes, and yes, the game does look better. Thanks!
Have a light positioned at the end of the main light (Through an attachment) that points back at the player, also lower that second lights brightness a lot, and disable shadows on it if they’re enabled. This simply effect adds a sort-of global-illumination that ends up looking really good and enhances lights a lot.
Here’s an example of this feature in use, and not in use.

In my opinion it really does make lights look better, and also heavily restricting the lights range is also good for horror, especially when the player can move.
Lowering the range and angle is what you should do.
Other than that, give the walls more detail such as materials or pipes going down them, they’re just bland and they look like a toddler made them.

It looks very nice to me, good luck with your creativity.
Yeah sure, I’ll try to add this in as well, thanks.
