try adding a carpet and paintings on the walls
I know you just commented on my post, but it looks like you need some feedback now.
- add wall trims
- add a carpet
- lighten up the colors
- add boxes or anything to do with the style.
- add toys or something small
- add plants
- add pictures
I’d brighten either the walls or the floor. Making them the same color causes them to blend together, and the room itself is already somewhat dark, so having more light colors would make the room more visually appealing. I’d consider adding these colors where you want to draw a player’s attention.
An option could always be to look up some references to gain some inspiration on what to do, otherwise you could add a clock or some posters, mainly things to make it feel more lived in.
If the room is built for a specific character you could always consider the interests that character specifically would have in order to better build a room suited to that characters tastes and needs (i.e a more unclean character would have a ton of clutter just lying around)
Hopefully this was somewhat helpful.
Sincerely,
sciville.
-A window would help a lot (if the thing behind the couch is supposed to be one, make it higher on the wall or something
-Pretty sure the desk is missing a chair
-Maybe add vertical supports for the bed?
-A coffee table would be nice
-Don’t just use rectangles as your general shape of each thing.
-Kind of small, but make the computer screen glow paler
-Not everything in your room has to be rectangles. I’m not saying they have to be round either (For example, wouldn’t look nice as an L instead?
also I like all the concepts the others have in the replies, check them out too
I might be back with some other thoughts
Hope it helps
