Hello! How would I make VFX like these? Where can I find textures for them, and, well, make them? Here’s the reference:
I don’t know anything about VFX or how most of them work
But from the video, it can be probably made with attachments, beams and a bit of particle emitters
About the textures, it seems to be just an image of some lines
With some “weird” white shapes
Probably you can do something like that easily with a drawing software
(Or Illustrator / Krita that, in my case, I consider easier for that)
So, in my head, that would work like this:
- The user attacks
- Animation is played
- Attachments relative to the sword or HumanoidRootPart position would be added
- Beams and Particles Emitters would be added in the attachments
Probably they also use animation events to get the timing correctly
But just to remind, I don’t know anything about VFX, so anything from this can be wrong, it’s just the way I see how that would probably work.

Hello! I’ve been playing around with it, and I have 3 attachments. 2 hold the beam and one holds the particle effects. How would I do it so the attachment that holds the effects would attach to the beam?

I’m not totally sure about this, but the attachments should always be connected with each other since they’re inside a part, so i didn’t understood correctly the question you had
