How can I recreate this camouflage-part effect?

There’s this disguise like effect on these parts in Shadovis RPG and they some how cloak everything outside a certain zone, are these Viewports? and if so how does it apply the skybox and everything along with it related to lighting?

I’m pretty sure those parts are just barely transparent, as transparent parts above 0.01 don’t show through glass parts. Unless this post is asking something else.

Do you know if there’s any other way else besides making it slightly transparent because in the way I am trying to use it it would mess with all the maps?

The best solution I could think of is using the ForceField material with negative transparency, which is somewhat hacky and buggy. However, it wouldn’t work if your builds use materials. It also results in unshaded parts and clipping stuff. I think the barely transparent parts are the best you have for now.
