How can I recreate this?

Hello there!

I’m working on a little side project which is a fangame of a game called “World of Trollge”. In the game, some of the troll’s have their faces 3D which looked similar like this:

How can I replicate this?

youre gonna need some 3d modeling for that…

You need to model the troll face. One thing to do is use svgs in blender and then texture paint them.

Mind if you show me a tutorial for that?

I would but I can’t. Just use google or bing if you use that.

The faces look more 2D than 3D.
If that’s what you want, put only a BlockMesh in the head Part, make the Z (I think) Scale of the BlockMesh .001, and make .png troll face Decals for the front and back sides with the outer sections erased so they appear transparent.

You could make/get a picture of the troll face from somewhere; you could try using Google Lens to find similar photos and import it as a plane in your 3d software, cut the outline out, extrude the shape and apply the image to the photo from the UV Editor and import it into ROBLOX and apply the texture to the mesh. If you need any further explanation I can help

  1. Blender
  2. Throw image to the studio
  3. Add a plane and rotate it to face the image.
  4. Enter modeling and cut out the pieces of the model to fit the image.
    4.5 get a quick break
  5. Add width by pressing one of the faces with E.
  6. UV editing montage to make the image fit.
6.5 add an image as a texture (image texture)
  7. Using Z you can enter rendering modes, material one is the one within your attention.
  8. If that’s all done, exporting is all you need to do.
  9. save the image you attached to the model so when exporting it’ll work in Roblox Studio
  10. export the model as .OBJ Groups or .OBJ Objects
  11. import to roblox studio

What does “Throw image in studio” mean?

Press “Open” and then select what image you’d like to import to such as that trollface.

Alright then. I’m new to Blender tho and tbh with ya, I don’t know what you mean by some of the steps such as step 4 being “Enter modeling and cut out the pieces of the model to fit the image”.

Ngl you probably gonna hate me for this but uh can you give me a video tutorial on how to do this. Sorry.

oh and btw, I’m confused what you did here: What did you do?

That part wasn’t necessary, I just set it as seam in case unwrap worked also.
But the way I made the model already seemed like it was good enough how it was created inside the UV. You’re free to skip that part as long as nothing supernatural happens.

Okay then, thanks alot man!
