I want to revert an auto-save.
-
There was a huge problem with the game, and I exited the game only to realized the game was auto-saved, and I couldn’t revert the publishing because I did something important before that.

I have tried searching up resolves for this, but to no success.
On your computer go to documents, then roblox, then autosaves and open the most recent one with the name of the place you were working on.
The autosaves might take some time to load in as well after you accidentally left the studio or it pushed you out of it. Just wait like 10 mins up to an hour and you should see it there. If you do not, go back to studio and then check the folder again.
Nope, I haven’t found one auto-save file.
You have two options:
Revert to an autosave file (Documents\ROBLOX\AutoSaves)
This only works if there is an autosave file, if there isn’t one you need to go to the website.
Go to https://www.roblox.com/develop, and find the game that you want to revert, then click on the settings button and configure start place. Then click on version history and revert to whatever save is closest to the time you want. In some cases you will lose work, and there isn’t a way around that. But if the lost work is less than the work it would take to fix the issue in your game, it’s often better to take that hit rather than the hit of extra work that fixing the huge problem entails.
If none of these work, unfortunately there isn’t any other way to revert to a save.
