How can I tell who likes my game?

Hello, I wanted to be able to know how to tell who likes my game, much like the player in this post asks: Tell if a player likes, favorites the game, ect?

However, I am still a little rusty when it comes to scripting, and I would like to know what you need to actually detect this. Thanks!

That’s not allowed.
Roblox ToS forbids the creators to obtain such informations.

Then how is the bed wars game shown in the link able to do it and not get punished?

Edit: By “seeing who likes” I mean running a check to see if a player has liked or not, not tracking down their username.

Pretty sure bedwars doesn’t actually check. I never liked, favorited, or followed the game. They just set it to true by default.

They don’t? But then what about the guy who replied to that message that said you could check using the ROBLOX API, or is his method against TOS as well?

I really don’t know if it’s against the TOS, but yeah, Bedwars only checks if you join the group, the marks the first step as complete.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the TOS doesn’t allow you to see the usernames of who likes or give people who like the game a prize for it, but I didn’t see anything about checking if a player liked or not.

I’ve never really seen a game successfully “check” if a player liked the game or not. I mean, it could be possible, but against the TOS.

Oh, so there’s likely no TOS-abiding way to do this?

Not that I know of. Even if you do, you would get banned for it. (Roblox’s TOS.)

Lol, yeah the character limit hinders one word responses, unless it’s something like “Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis”.

Edit: Thank you for your help by the way

Tracking down their username? That’s fine.
You cannot know if someone liked or not. That’s unhealthy competition.

They don’t.
They check if you’re verified, and then they check discord.

Thank you for your help, but the question has already been answered.

You’ve asked me another question, which is
“How Bedwars is doing it & shall it be banned?”

So ummm it haven’t yet be answered before me

I must have forgot about that, can you answer it please?

I kinda did answer it, but here, I’ll say it again.
We all know that Bedwars have a GUI that gives you a few tasks to complete for a battlepass amplifier, and one of the tasks being “Like the game”.
So you might be asking, how does they know?
They verify that you got the verified hat in your inventory to make you that you CAN vote, but in reality, they cant know if you truly DID vote.
Most noobs thinks bedwars actually sees it so they upvote, but you understand now that the creator cannot know what a player voted.

No need to indirectly call me a noob, but thanks for your help!

No no I didn’t call you a noob at all, its seriously what they do, they got this “verify” button next to the “like game” task, so noobs will think that they could actually see. I mean a dev from 2013 would not fall for that but 7 years old kids on their mom’s phone would…

That’s one of Bedwars tricks :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah, my bad, lol. Have a good day/night!
