How can I use search.roblox.com to search for items by creation date (not last updated)?

search.roblox.com/catalog/json is pretty much the same as using the catalog/library. Copy the end of the URL parameters from a catalog search, and they can be used in a programmatic search.roblox.com query. Since I only know of the parameters through the catalog, and the catalog doesn’t provide a UI option to search by creation date, I’m not sure how I can order the results by creation date. I’ve tried all SortType options with no luck.

Has anyone used this API for an item notifier/etc before and know if there’s a way to order by creation date? I’m searching models/plugins if that makes a difference.

Not sure, but maybe changing the Direction could do something? Changing to 1 always redirects me to 2 for some reason.

Yeah, same here. I get redirected to 2 in the Catalog. Doesn’t appear to have any sort of effect on search.roblox.com though.

As far as I know currently there is no way to do this. The best you can get right now is by recently updated. What would be the use case for sorting by Created date, if you don’t mind me asking?

Idk if it’s what OP wanted it for, but for preservation.
So many old clothes, models are just lost in the messy swap the catalog has become.
It’s not just loss of resources, it’s loss of culture.
