No its not anchored, but the viewmodel has animation idk if has to do something with it
I would move the vm out of replicated storage, then see how it looks , it coukd be no where near where the light is at… then move the light where u want it, then move it back to R S
Also why is the light in workspace , and not part od you vm model in r s ?
Also if it has a w c, then if you are moving the part it is w c to, i think it will move… ie your animation

another thing you can do, is add an attachment to the Lanterna, then put a point light under the attachment, then move the attachment where you want the point light to hit… Then you do not need the light mesh…
i wanted to make a flashlight, but also the light wont follow wherever im pointing at
if you want , send me a .rbxl or a model of the lantern…
also why are not not having the lantern as a tool that can be picked up?
i just thought of it being the default view model of the player
are you doing VR? or what do you mean by View Model?
