Jailbreak is a good example of what I’m talking about.
I’m pretty sure people do this by constantly editing the pitch, but how would I get a looping car engine sound (I’m assuming this is how games do this) to sound like a real engine when the car is driving? Like pitch ramping when switching gears.
I basically have always gone about it as you mentioned. I find a good looping engine sound, and increase and decrease the pitch according to the speed of the car. For the shifting of gears, I often play a stick shift sound( especially if it is a older car ), and move the pitch downwards a notch when shifting into a higher gear, before continuing the pitch increase. This is the easiest way to do it inside of roblox that I know of, and it provides pretty realistic results.
