How could I decorate and make windows for these walls?

I am making a castle for my game and l struggling with decorating and adding windows to the walls of it. I do not know what shape to make the window. (I am using the stud building style which means 90* rotations, 0.5 stud scale, and plastic material) If you have any other tips that would be great also!

IMO, the window is a little bit too low, iā€™d push it higher up. As for the shape, I think it fits well with the art style. You could just make it black or use skinny bars to close it up.

you can leave it like that or add cross shaped bar in the middle.
