I think this looks a lot better, but I still wanted a bit more suggestions on how to improve it.
Edit2: I worked on it even more, and even though I haven’t quite finished it,I think this version is amazing, and I just want a little more feedback on it just to be sure it will be good to use.
Note : I’m still working on the stats look abit, maybe changing how far it extends out, as well as how the text is displayed, but other than that I can’t seem to find many more issues than that on my own.
The thing that makes UIs look nice is the pictures you put. Instead of puttin that AutoRun you could of put an ImageLable with a man running and next to it an Image with a man walking. GUI animations are nice too. Like when the mouse starts hovering on the Button it changes size and when it leaves it goes back to its original size.
My opinion on this is that the GUIs are kinda boring. Maybe you should make some with a curved side or with a different shape to attract attention and make it look nice.
It looks nice, but there are a couple of things that stand out.
First, the pause and autorun text looks scrunched up, you could give them some more room (a few pixels, not much). Your purple and green squares are closer to the pause button than the number bars that keep track of the stats. They should be closer or at least equal in space between, especially since you are doing that with the On/Off buttons (keeping equal distance all around).
Other than that, the colours look okay; it really depends on the type of game you are making so it’s hard to really tell you what colours are best. And since it’s a picture it’s hard to see if you have any animations like hovering and stuff, so I’ll assume you have/are planning to implement these.
Also if you consider using a toggle for autorun, that may clean up the UI a bit. On/Off is fine, but if you are looking to conserve space then look for opportunities like that.
The other thing I would suggest is making the stats the larger part of the UI, rather than the toggle. I mean, if the toggle isn’t used much, it shouldn’t be taking up as much space as the stats that you need to see almost all the time. But idk, it looks fine and the last thing I wanted to mention is that if you’re using a leaderboard then you probably want to consider where you are going to place everything - your top-right corner orientation kind of conflicts with the current leaderboard but I’m unsure if you are making your own custom leaderboard.
Either way, looks great and the pixel theme stands out a lot more now with the blocky UI. I like it.
I don’t like how after the redesign it doesn’t look like the buttons are buttons. I would put a dividing black line between the run and pause button and round the other end of it too, to make it look like the button strip on an old media player, keying them into that it’s a pause button, and thus also implying that the run icon is a button too. Alternatively maybe make put the pause button in a circle (a big one), and the autorun button off to the side of it, so that it really looks like a media player interface, with the classic “big circle with play / pause button”
