So currently this only uses the humanoid cameraoffset. However, it still doesn’t look that great.

You could add drift marks when the user turns sharp corners
does it drift? btw 9/10, Just make the “turn” more
yeah it does drift ( hold shift), if you are playing on mobile then unfortunately I have not added the buttons for it(yet).
another creation with amazing potential, here’s my suggestions:
turning and driving doesn’t feel reactive enough, it doesn’t feel like there is much force, perhaps make the car shake around a bit when you floor the gas?
crashing into something at 20 mph with no dent or sound feels a bit weird yknow
add some wind effects or camera shakes when you go fast
add camera shakes when it backfires
if youd like a little example of these suggestions:
overall i really like it tho, 9/10
Crashing now has a camera shake dependant on velocity and backfiring has a subtle camera shake.
that is already 100x better, also where’d you get those sounds? roblox’s library?
yeah I got those sounds are from the roblox library.
how do you make this driving system? can i have some suggestions?
It’s mainly based on vector forces. This is a downside if you play <30 fps.
i suggest using a-chassis and modifying the crap out of it, sure it’s old and outdated but it’s easy to edit, use, and modify
making your own chassis is tedious imo and it comes with a ton of downsides
quick question: why is that a downside? is it lag or something?
If the latency between the frames are too high, then it’ll overshoot which creates massive instability in the suspensions. However, I’m sure it’s only a minority that can’t run above 30 fps.
That might happen if you are not using deltatime.
I am using deltatime though???
It probably should work then. Are you using it properly?
Yes I am using it properly otherwise it wouldn’t work(altogether)
