How could I make this interior less uniform given these conditions?

I will try to keep the explanation as simple as possible. My game:

  • Cannot use meshes as it needs to create part destruction;
  • If using any textures / materials, needs parts with said texture to fit each other side by side if their size is 1x1x1;
  • I can’t use huge parts unless they have the square shape. I can, however, also use cylinders with high height and wedges with high width.

Onto what I am trying to acheive.
I have this medieval-ish tower.

I need to have both floors be, somehow, connected. For this, I tried making these stairs inside.

You can probably tell that this does not look good. It is very hard to see these stairs. I tried doing such stuff as applying future-lighting, which does not look particularly good either given the reflectance of Plastic.

In fact, my whole interior does not look particularly good.

How can I made this better? I appreciate suggestions of textures, too, if you feel like it is required.
Thanks in advance.

indentations on the wall, some bricks sticking out and rugs on the floor could make this look better!! try reusing the bricks you used to line the doorway. since this is meant to be medieval, small blocky lanterns could be implemented which will give the inside a lot more detail too

I recommend remaking it as a few meshes and showing a separate copy of the building with parts when it gets destructed

I will give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion!

The difference would be abismal here. I dont think this is a great option…
