How could I truly achieve this hit effect?

As of yestarday I began to create particles just to improve my skills outside of simply scripting, and I began to question how I’d do such a hit effect similar to this?

I am currently trying to setup the particle, but I’m left wondering if I should completely make the hit effect it’s own thing and make the other things somewhat seperate (like the little dark parts), or everything should be together in it’s own one particleemitter?
