I can’t really find an answer to this but how does favoriting a game or liking it necessarily help the game? I think I have a good idea to make it happen but i’m not sure if it’s worth it. And do dislikes do anything to the game at all?
I think that people are way less likely to play a game if it has a low like-dislike ratio, but i’m not sure if it does anything to the algorithm
There’s a method to prompt a player to like right? Sorry i’m an experienced scripter I tryharded scripting for around 9 months but then I took a break for a few months. I’m still on my break currently.
The like to dislike ratio doesn’t do anything to the algorithm. The like to dislike ratio just tells the player about to join that the game isn’t liked by the rest of the community, dropping the chances of them playing. Like a low review on a product.
What about favorites? Do they do anything useful?

Favorites do boost the algorithm a bit, not as much as CCU, revenue, or engagement time
You could do what Cart Ride Into Rdite did and make a Like Counter, where if you liked the game you would see the number go up in real time. I’m not sure how they achieved this, though, maybe with HttpService
. Besides that, you could make a custom pop-up that asks the Player
to like the game.
You can prompt to favorite, not like
