- What are you attempting to achieve?
I am trying to Achieve this Blurry Like Floor or something Close to that
- What is the issue?I dont know if its possible to achieve this
And if it is Could you explain to me how to achieve this
It isn’t really possible unless you use glass material with a rough mesh like so:
And lay it on the floor and add another rig on the opposite end to get that “reflection”.
Now I gotta know.… can you make a working mirror with this? And does changing the amount of triangles on that mesh affect the resolution?
To achieve a blurry floor effect in Roblox, you can use a combination of the Glass material and a rough mesh. Here’s how:
This setup creates a blurry, reflective floor effect.
Yes. Currently I am using a tremendous amount of triangles (around 6k per mesh) and there are like ~64 meshes being used where each mesh has a size of 1x1 so it gets laggy really fast.
This was the video I watched that made me know this trick:
Too late, this has already been done.
Please refrain from using AI.
short answer: No im not using Ai like (Chatgpt, Replika or any else)
edit
neither did i use Ai ever
Oh wait I’m blind. You have to duplicate an object to have this work.
Nvm I’m not impressed anymore
We can’t trust that you didn’t use AI, as you joined the forum 2 days ago.
This is my new account? but alright ill just keep up what y’all are saying
Why say “short answer” when you had only one answer?
Anyways I did run an AI check and it was 55% AI but that’s probably because how you type. I am not gonna argue though.
Okay.
“short answer:” is def weird to say and why did you feel the need to starting listing ai models??
and looking at some of your other post, they look exactly like an ai response
I’m wondering if this could work with PBR textures, roughness maps in particular, would save a ton of performance
No, sadly it won’t because roblox’s PBR texture are low quality.
