I have wielded the accessory to the hand, but whenever I use an animation editor (default and moon animator), it doesn’t show the part on the explorer side. However if I move the part which is wielded to the knife, the knife moves. But I want to move the knife on it own, how do I achieve it
I have been attempting this thing for an hour, reading through many tutorials but still. If it’s something about coding, you can tell me the logic and the reason why it works, don’t give me a bunch of code, thanks
Did you weld it or was it attached with Motor6D? Welded items won’t show up in the animation editor at all since they are part of the part they’re welded to (like a real weld) and motor6d are used for like limbs and parts that have their own movement trajectory (example: limbs)
Example: I have this tentacle with a mast that needs animating.
As you can see the entire mast is connected to the arm with an M6D while the stuff on the mast is connected with a weld. Now if we go into the animation editor, this will show up:
Only the arm (skinned meshes, that’s why you see bones) and the mast are shown. The “ropefish” and “harpoon” don’t show up because of the weld. They became one with the mast.
I wielded them, I tried using motor6d but the result is weird, it is shown in the explorer but whenever I try to move it, it’s just an empty game object at the center of the torso
