I’ve been using the same username vinboi on this platform for the last 12 years, but recently got banned because apparently ”vinboi” which I thought was an asset or something I uploaded is “Illegal and Regulated Activities”.
I immediately tried to appeal, but right after I received a response, support explained my username violated TOS, then that’s when that specific support person decided to remove my username. It’s literally just wordplay of my first and last name. I think I got mass reported by harassers from a community I’ve been dealing with. It’s like I shouldn’t even have bothered appealing and I’d still have my username, but I didn’t want an unfair moderation on my record since this is my main account that I develop, devex on, and my moderation record has literally been squeaky clean the last 10 whole years… Is emailing support my only option, because they are not hearing me out…

Also have you been banned or terminated? There’s a difference.
I’ve never seen someone who get temporarily banned for an inappropriate username. I’ve seen that inappropriate usernames always lead to a termination, but it looks like your account isn’t terminated, so that’s kinda weird.
I was only banned/warned not terminated. I had to pay 1000 robux to change my account name back and luckily I did so before anyone used my account name to create a new account. I couldn’t believe it when I saw I could sign up a new account with the username I’ve had over a decade here, all of this just screams social engineering/phishing. Thank you for the support number, I’m getting the same seemingly bot responses
