How do I ask for a permission from car companies to use their cars in my game?

You don’t have to. Jailbreak, vehicle simulator, and other games use it without a problem. Just make sure you aren’t copying exact car models. Please let me know if this helps. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Also, this post should be in #help-and-feedback:game-design-support.

Uh, yes you do have to? Real cars aren’t public domain assets, they are a company’s property and they have the rights to those cars and their make. Other games using the names of or models of real cars doesn’t explicitly mean anyone’s allowed to do that, so the “other games do it so you can too” justification doesn’t work here.

I don’t believe Jailbreak or Vehicle Sim specifically mention car brands nor copy models directly; their cars are unique. So no, you really can’t. Consent is key

There are two things.
1.Car models I use are similar to real one.
2.Why did blade get copyright strike and got removed?
