How do I build a race map? My game is called Bloxy Roads and as the name implies you either win the race or you get bloxed

The Building Support sub-category is intended for all development support relating to architecture on the Roblox platform. This includes questions ranging in difficulty from extremely basic to even the most technical of issues.

You may present your thread how you choose, but you are required to answer the following questions in your thread;

  • What are you attempting to achieve?
    I want to make my maps look really clean and front-page worthy. It’s the first race game of its genre so I want the maps to look detailed…
  • What is the issue?
    How do I build them? What do I need to consider? I want my maps to look nice. What’s missing in them? How can I increase my efficiency? There aren’t many tutorials out there for race games.
  • What solutions have you tried so far?
    I usually just build the road and then the landscape around it.

Hello! You can call me Tank and I am here to help you on your problem!

I’m not sure about your building experience so right now I am just stating the very basics of building the race map on this paragraph.

So to make racing map you could start by building the road using brick parts to make the road and some more brick parts to make many vegetation like trees,grass,flower,ect and can use those brick parts to make some terrain around it.

If you want to get more technical and more advanced racing maps you can use some brick parts to make some curvy looking tracks by using CSG/union.
