How do I calculate PI and build parts around a cylinder?

Hello! I am trying to build parts around a cylinder part. The problem is I can’t get the right angle.(I use the archimedes plugin.) Some parts are closer to the cylinder and some parts are furthur. How do I make the parts be exactly around the cylinder? I am a noob, I dont have knowledge for advanced calculations or anything advanced.

Calculate how many sides the cylinder has and then divide 360 / the number of sides.

Edit: For example if cylinder have 10 sides then i divide 360/10 = 36° and that’s the angle between sides

If you’re trying to make a ring of parts, place 2 on opposite sides, this will make the selection become a long bar, with the circle on the center. Calculate a rotation angle and rotate the 2 parts, each time duplicating until you get your parts forming a circle
