How do I change RBXLX file into RBXM file?

A while ago I made a model and saved it as an RBXLX file and I don’t have the source file anymore. I saw one Node JS plugin on how to convert it but the instructions were privated. I don’t know how to change RBXLX file to RBXM file and I cannot import it in studio.

Yeah, but I am now stuck with RBXLX and I do not have the source file.

You can open RBXLX from studio.
click FILE and select OPEN then dialog pops up, so select RBXLX file.

What do you mean by not having the source file? Having the .rbxlx file should be enough, I don’t see why converting it to an .rbxm file would make any difference. You can open .rbxlx files using studio.

No, I want to import it using right clicking in the workspace and clicking import file. for some reason it displays weirdly otherwise.

You can’t do that, it’s a place file. This means you have to select Open File and then do it from there. After you got the place open just copy and paste the model.
