This used to be easy to figure out in the part’s properties, however, now I can’t find the section in the properties window. It seems Roblox moved it but I can’t find a “replacement” on their poor documentation.
Any help?

You can find out if you insert a decal into the part, and set the decals face to front.
Thanks. I’m still disappointed Roblox removed such a simple feature and didn’t give us a replacement
It would be easier to look at the little cube with the x y and z axis that’s on default at the top right of a screen. The cube is marked with faces, like front and bottom. Hope this is helpful, it would be a little easier than using a decal.
Face the side of the part you want and look at the cube. That should work.
Just right click the part and toggle orientation indicator
Thanks for the info!
no problem!

wow I never knew this existed… I also didn’t even use the decal method instead I would literally make the part plastic and add surfaces and find the front surface.
